Joe Dell, "Hmmm! Now....now....it is a funny time. over 11 years since day one. Memories of our early days feel like a dream. We carried the world on our shoulders. There are bands in the tristate area that are in our vein now. I feel we have started something that took a while to catch on. When we started in 1999, there were no bands with a keyboard player that plays the way I do. It was all Hardcore and Death metal. We never fit in anywhere. We were the odd man out. People liked our shows, especially the stage shows. Again, something no one else was doing. The scene was dead and we were put on stage along side extreme bands. We were labeled retro by fans, critics and labels. Now, retro is in, a kool thing. We started something and now it has passed us by. Listen to the original EP from 2000. Then listen to everything within 10 years or so before it. Then listen to everything 10 years or so after. You tell me. We continue to move in our own footsteps. Poor management, deaths and time has taken its toll. I am very proud of Legend and Lazarus. I feel we are the Edgar Allan Poe of rock. People take us for granted. But, 20, 30, may-be 100 years from now. There will be music professors who will play our music and point out what we have accomplished. Our EP sounds like 4 different bands. NO ONE has every done that. 4 completely different vocalists. Goin Over, a 30 minute epic with acting in between. All diferent styles of rock and metal in the one song. Prog, Acid, Speed, Rap, acoustic. Let alone the concept. A drug addict rock opera. True to Earth and deep. Lazarus Project, Various forms of metal. But, mixed with organ and synth in such a way that was never done. Legend, our newest child. She is the younger sister to Lazarus. She is more delicate and artistic in some ways. But holds enormous power in others. We released the longest Indie album to date. over 2 hours of new music. 20 songs. It is a story book of music. 5 different vocalist over 20 different instruments. Acoustic and electric. We have made our bed in straw made of iron. The industry, be it label or critics, even fans, can not find a label for us. We have created a new genre of music. Some call it Progressive Acid Metal, but that is even too limited. We have songs ranging from heavy, with death metal vocals all the way to the other end of the Spectrum, beautiful female vocals over a delicate piano. We have always put everything we have into our music. At this point, we may crumble. It is a dangerous part of our career. We need proper management to carry on. We have 20 minutes of material prepared for a new album, which would be our 5th to date. We have always worked with top names and professionals. We are now in the Purgatory of rock music. Only the hands of God can elevate us from this point. We need to reconnect with the old fans and connect with new ones. We have a sound that is ready and waiting for the people who crave the new and different. Who aren't afraid of change or new experiences. Who feel the need to discover, rather than walk on already tread on paths. People with minds capacity greater than the norm. People who want and crave artistic elements that staturate music, lyrics and stage. We have clawed at the wall long enough, and desire the fullest recognition now, not after we are dead and gone."
