Joe Dell was sighted at the New York City Symphony X & Iced Earth show. This is the first concert outing for the Sleepy Hollow keyboardist since he broke his neck on March 27th 2012. We caught up with Joe to ask him about the event. Joe Dell, "Ah! Good fun! The 2 bands bring back memories of 2002. I gave Mole the Horror show album and told him to listen to it. It influenced the Bad Reflection section of the Goin' Over Epic. Then Mole gave me The Odyssey for my brithday. We had recorded the Goin' Over epic in 2001 and it wasn't released until early 2004 due to poor engineering and list of horror stories. I though we were goining to be the ones to bring back those great epics with the roman numerals and the Mole was like, yeah Joe, these guys beat us to it. It was a great show and my old school friend Joe DiMaulo and his wife Stephenie took us back stage. It was good fun and they are a great bunch. My wife was excited because they are her all time favorite band. I felt bad, I kept calling Jason Rullo Joe. I did explain that my head did go through a windshield last year (laughiung). I got bashed around up front, but, thank God, I am not feelin too bad today. I feel like I needed that, brought me back to a good metal state. We are looking to go back into the studio to start our 5th album and I need to get all my facilities back. First most, my chops. Mole and I have been throwing ideas over the phone and hopefully will be getting in by June, if not, definately by Fall. I would like to have a new Sleepy Hollow album out before Christmas. Oh, and I am almost finished with my book that I am writing for Goin' Over. Ah! A busy year after a year of rest and healing." It was good to see Joe in good spirits again. We will have more news as it arises.
