Triple B remembered....

Today marks the 4 year memorial of the passing of Mike "Triple B" Allen. Triple B was the lead guitarist for Spectrum Green and played Bass on 2 Sleepy Hollow albums. Joe Dell will give you his words. Joe, "Triple B, my friend, my soul mate, my loved brother. He was uniquely special. I had a relationship with him like no other. We saw the world through the same eyes. We shared the same tastes and sense of humor. We loved each other like brothers and treated each other no less. He, in my opinion, was the greatest guitarist who ever walked this Earth. I don't just say that in a bias sense.I say it with confidence because he mastered all the greats...he was all of them rolled up in one. You name him, he mastered his style. BB KIng, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dave Gilmour, Jerry Garcia, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dime bag...the list goes on. I am so happy we released the practice tapes as a bonus on the Lazarus Project. It shows what he had at such a young age...ya know...him being only 21 at the time. He also had a genuine heart. He supported all his friends and did everything to build their esteems and such. He always made sure there was a support group for his friend Marc Rizzo when he came to town. He also was there for the important Sleepy Hollow gigs. To this day, his bass playing on Armageddon is the best bass lines ever on a Sleepy Hollow song. I will never let his memory die as long as I am alive. God rest my friend. I will be up soon...I know he'll have some great player waitin' for us!"
