Joe Dell, "Yeah, met Steve during N.A.M.M. week over in California. Really kool guy. I mean the dude just draws you in with his persona, and all you want to do is guzzle beer and talk metal with him. He is very knowledgeable and as some people know I had owned well over 1000 metal vinyls. I was shocked when he had told me that he cover Sleepy Hollow around the Goin' Over era. He had been in town to cover The Hall of Heavy Metal History induction...that's where I first met him. At first glance, he just looked the part man! Like if you were making a movie and wanted a guy to play the part of the UK metal head that would see Iron Maiden at the Ruskin....he IS your man! The next day, we hung strong at the Randy Rhoads Remembered show at the Yost...very kind of Kathy and Kelle putting me on the guest list. To be honest, by the end of the night, we were both shit faced! (laughing) So, when I got back to the East Coast, I decided to give his show a listen....I fucking loved it! I mean! I felt 10 years old again! Listening to ALL REAL metal! He alsp brought me up to date with some stuff on his show. I mean, he is true! He links all the classic stuff from the early days with the 80's ground breaking metal then takes us up to date with only TRUE metal! He is my brother! He know and gets the real metal and hates the poser shit as much as I do! Now I am an avid listener to his show. Good to here is voice man...I mean, even though we just met, I feel like he's an old friend that I hung with since back in the day!....and I bet all his listeners feel that way as well!"
