Jack Bruce was a big influence on us as heard in such tracks as Out of the Mist and Come With Me Melina. All four original members are big Cream fans and have an admiration of Jack and his work. Jack introduced the "riffy" song which would actually begin with the memorable "hook" as opposed to keeping the listener waiting for the chorus. This shows up later in many songs such as Iron Man and Aqualung to name a few. Jack was a heavy bassist with a smooth voice and was the backbone of Cream. God rest Jack Bruce and thank you for all you have done to pave the way for classic hard rock and heavy metal music.
