As all Sleepy Hollow Band fans know, the very first set Sleepy Hollow Band ever played included Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry. Joe Dell has mentioned growing up listening to Chuck on his father's old vinyls and the rest of the band all had some kind of influence, thus a metal band playing the only R&R song ever in their set by Chuck Berry. His influence can be heard in the riff of Armageddon among others. He influenced everyone from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elvis, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, SRV and so on. So, we take this time to pay tribute and respect to the Godfather of R&R guitar.
