Today the Castle Rock Orchestra (www.castlerockorchestra.org) performed the debut of the fourth movement to Matt Schwarz's Symphony No. 1 in D-Minor. The movement, composed in seven-part classical Rondo form, received rousing applause and was described as "driving", "upbeat", and "reminiscent of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' music". A recording of the performance will appear on this website soon. Let's hope the full symphony will be unleashed in the near future!
