Joe Dell, "I have often been asked about who are my influences and such. I looked up to Randy Rhoads when it came to self discipline. Here is a list in what I believe to be a cronology of my influences through my life, and NOTHING more. Any jazz piano or organist from the late 50s to mid 70s Bach, Beethoven & Moztart Reggae organists Don Airey John Paul Jones Geddy Lee Ray Manzarek Rick Wright John Evan(s) Rick Wakeman Tony Kaye Michael Bruce/Bob Ezrin Mike Pinder Tony Carey John Lord Keith Emerson King Diamond Tori Amos Dennis DeYoung Tony Banks and thats it! Believe it or not! Alot of what I do comes from inside and obscure innovative ideas I will have. I try to feel what belongs in a song or lead. If your hear someone that may sound like me. It is quite possible I have influenced them! I have been around for 13 years+ and the first Sleepy Hollow release has been sold world wide for over 10 years. Plus, Sleepy Hollow were the only band of its kind in the New York City area back in the early Millenium! Anything else was mostly hard core, grind core, shit core, whatever! So, we paved the way and opened the doors for bands of our nature. Just because we are underground, does not mean we have no influence on whats out there. Think about a little underground band by the name of Pink Floyd back in 1966 who was led by a fella named Syd Barrett, how they influenced The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who etc!"
