New in today, Joe Dell has heard back from Harper Collins and is ready to do another rewrite. We caught up with Joe for some words. Joe Dell, "Yup! Heard back and was givin' the big elbow so to say. I'm kool with that. I am now working on revising the 8th chapter. I had added several stories on my 3rd rewrite and now I am satisfied with the content, now, I want to work on revising some of the text. I am rereading id and finding things I don't want in there and things I want to change for the better. Everything happens for a reason. There is alot of my soul in this book and alot I believe in. I know there is a good story in there along with a history lesson so to say. Tony, the main character, is like a demented new millenium Huckleberry Finn. I base this in my home town of Lodi NJ, which is an interesting town. We had such acts as Joey Dee and startlights all the way up to the Misfits come out of the town. Along with the famous Trantino trial. My story will bring the reader back to the late 20th century in that area. Goin' Over was a catch phrase so to say. It was part of the history. I truely believe that 100 years from now, this book will be used in schools for a refernece of the era. I DO NOT candy coat anything. There is strong subject matter and I would not recommend anyone under 18 reading it..." More news as it developes. Joe has been talking to old friend Pat Gesualdo and is in the hopes of working with him in the future as well.
