News flash! There is another Sleepy Hollow out there and trying to steal the thunder. There have been several Sleepy Hollow bands out. The first was in 1972 and sounded like the Beatles. One of the many incarnations were a 1 album thrash band by the name of Sleepy Hollow. They were around for 3 years and disappeared into obscurity. The most successful Sleepy Hollow to date was formed in 1999 and yes, you know the story. They have 4 albums which have sold thousands world wide. They have built the name bigger than any predicesor. Now, 23 years later after the fact, the lead singer has decided to use the name again. They are trying to confuse the public and get them to buy their music thinking that they are the true Sleepy Hollow. They even knew of the bands existance. Drummer Frank Melick spoke with the lead singer Bob Mitchell and Joe Dell had spoken to the original bass player. This is obvously a blatent rip off of the name sake, 13 years of hard work to build up the name and following and they are using the bands blood sweat and tears to their advantage. They were actually named Attacker as well. Why not use that name knowing of this bands existance. They are also going under the tag progressive on their myspace page and they ARE NOT PROG! This is a slap in the face. They are aged fat old men looking for a little glory before they die and are draining a hard working band. Please people, look for the names Joe Dell and Matt Schwarz on the Sleepy Hollow products, if you don't see those names, they ain't us!
