Matthew H Schwarz has been performing at Renaissance Faires since 2004, as well as performing weddings and other events. His repertoire includes instrumentals and songs, traditional folk (Irish, English, Scottish, Swedish, etc.) as well as early music of the medieval and Renaissance eras and a few originals.

“Harpist Matt Schwarz, a true professional when it comes to entertaining people. I have watched Matt's nimble fingers pluck the strings of his harp on many a song with some excellent vocals and without. Matt's stage show is great and can keep patrons in their seats, but the treat is his pop-up concerts along the paths and among the vendors. As Matt moves around the festival or faire he brings his energy with him. Welcoming patrons at the main entrance or drawing patrons to vendor areas that might be overlooked, the sweet sound of strings offers a historic authenticity to a faire environment. I said I have seen Matt Schwarz play, well I booked him at our annual Medieval Faire and also the Pirate Festival, and I'll keep booking him for as long as I can!”
