Goin' Over Pt. II - Seedy Sales

(Sleepy Hollow)
June 13, 2001
Dell
The Goin' Over music was worked up mostly by Joe and Mole, since they were the two progressive/epic music fans of the group, and Mole usually showed up for practice at Joe's before the rhythm section. The lyrics and story were then worked up mainly by Joe, depicting the journey of an innocent youth into heavier and heavier drugs until they lead to his death. After the innocence of "Broken Water", this movement of the epic depicts the young man's introduction to a relatively harmless recreational pharmeceutical. Joe takes lead vocals over a heavy rock riff in 13/8 with some nice drumming by Frank.
